Microsoft Windows Vista

Good evening to all. Last month Vista worked fine including IE7 Beta. After a few weeks, IE7 stopped working stating something to the effect that it had to obtain a new IP address which it just sits there and never obtains a new one. Well the last week of July and the first week of Aug I had to go to school in Maryland. When I got back and tried to access Vista I got the following error: Code: 0xc004f002, The software licensing service reported that rights consumption failed. So can anyone tell me what happened and what do I have to do to fix both problems? Any suggestions or assistance will be appreciated. Thank you and have a great eveining.-- Doug

vista no more access

Hi,

If you installed the IE7 beta on top of Vista, then that could account for the problems. The IE7 beta is designed for WinXP systems, Vista has its own version of IE7 already installed.

What can you do? Very little if this is the case. Format and start over, hope you kept your Product Key,

Actually MS wouldn't let me install IE Beta3 on Vista.
